Students' attitudes towards vocabulary learning at Hoang Hoa Tham upper secondary school

Abstract
The study aimed to examine students’ attitudes towards vocabulary learning at Hoang Hoa Tham upper secondary school. The study investigated 83 eleventh graders’ attitudes towards vocabulary learning. Participants of this research were 83 students from two different classes which are 11A3 and 11C4. The research followed a quantitative approach. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires. The results indicated that most students have positive attitudes towards vocabulary learning. The findings showed that students had difficulty in speaking, reading or writing due to lack of vocabulary knowledge. Also, using incorrect words can also affect communication. Based on the results, some recommendations were figured out to improve vocabulary learning.
