Main Article Content
Abstract
Although articles are a fundamental grammatical component of French, their instruction presents numerous challenges, particularly for students of French as a modern foreign language. This exploratory study aims to examine how articles are taught in high schools in Ho Chi Minh City. Through an analysis of the French curriculum and interviews with teachers, this research seeks to provide an overview of the context of French teaching and to clarify the role of articles in the curriculum. It also aims to identify the difficulties encountered by teachers and students in teaching and learning articles. Based on the findings of this study, strategies will be proposed for improving article instruction.
