Abstract

In the context of higher education innovation, academic advising plays a crucial role in supporting students' learning, personal development, and future careers. This study investigates and evaluates the current status of academic advising activities at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. Results indicate that the organization of student class management, academic advising, scientific research guidance, personal development, and coordination with relevant units to support students in addressing training-related and other issues, along with the provision of supporting conditions for academic advising activities, have been evaluated as effective, though not yet highly effective. The findings provide a practical basis for proposing measures to organize academic advising activities at the university, aiming to ensure and enhance the quality of education.
