Abstract

In the era of the Vietnamese nation’s rise, internal strength is the key factor determining the breakthrough development of the country. Besides material resources, political and spiritual strength, along with the collective psychological state of the entire society, play an important role. One of the sources of that strength is Vietnamese patriotism, nurtured through patriotic education across revolutionary periods. Using mixed research methods, this study synthesizes key elements of Ho Chi Minh’s thought on patriotism education and assesses the current situation of such education. The findings provide the foundation for proposing three solutions to effectively apply Ho Chi Minh’s ideological framework to patriotism education for students in the era of the Vietnamese nation’s rise.
