Abstract

The teaching of the topics Force, Speed, and Mechanical Energy in Natural Science still faces many challenges, as these concepts cannot be directly observed and are primarily understood through experiments, while the availability of equipment and visual teaching aids remains limited. In this context, the application of motion analysis software such as Tracker can effectively support the teaching process. This paper proposes a design for teaching sequences of the above topics using Tracker, aimed at developing students' inquiry skills in natural science. The results indicate that the integration of Tracker in teaching sequences helps students enhance their inquiry skills, while also supporting learners to actively engage and gain a clearer understanding of concepts related to force, speed, and mechanical energy. Furthermore, the study opens opportunities for further refinement of the methodology and for expanding its application to other topics within the Natural Science curriculum.
