QUALITY ASSURANCE OF STUDENT SUPPORT PROCESSES IN MASTER’S PROGRAMS: A CASE STUDY AT HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION

Abstract
This study evaluates the internal quality assurance processes of student support processes in master’s programs at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. Survey data were from 866 students, 50 managers at the faculty level and lecturers. The findings show that input and output processes are well standardized, while operational processes face several limitations, particularly in monitoring student progress, handling administrative procedures, and coordinating across units. Technological infrastructure and institutional coordination mechanisms also emerged as important factors affecting the effectiveness of the support system. The study suggests that the quality of student support depends not only on well-designed processes but also on system integration and operation. It suggests improvements in process optimization, digital transformation, and internal coordination.
