VIETNAM-US EDUCATIONAL COOPERATION (2013-2023)

Abstract
Relations between Vietnam and the United States developed significantly across multiple sectors under the Comprehensive Partnership (2013-2023) and were elevated to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2023. Educational cooperation, in particular, made important advances and became more substantive. This article analyzes the factors that influenced educational cooperation between Vietnam and the United States and assesses its outcomes over the 10-year period from 2013 to 2023. Using historical and logical methods combined with documentary analysis, the study examines: (1) the objective and subjective factors influencing Vietnam-US educational cooperation; (2) cooperation in higher education and management training; and (3) the challenges and characteristics of the educational cooperation process. The findings clarify the achievements of Vietnam-US cooperation in education and training during 2013-2023 and highlight prospects for further cooperation in this field.
