Abstract
This study examines the relationship between quality culture and lecturers' happiness at work at Tra Vinh University, while considering leadership support and work pressure. A mixed-methods design combined in-depth interviews with 12 administrators and lecturers and a large-scale quantitative survey. For the quantitative phase, 480 questionnaires were distributed through stratified random sampling across faculties and institutes, and 452 valid responses were analyzed, yielding a 94.17% response rate. The questionnaire used a five-point Likert scale. JAMOVI analyses indicated high internal consistency and adequate conditions for exploratory factor analysis with Varimax rotation. Multiple linear regression showed that the set of predictor variables explained 44.05% of the variance in lecturer happiness (, ). Specifically, quality culture played the most prominent role with a strong positive association with lecturer happiness (, , ). In addition, leadership support was positively associated (, ), whereas work pressure was negatively associated with it (, ). Given the cross-sectional design, the coefficients are interpreted as conditional statistical associations rather than evidence of causal effects.
