Abstract
The study analyzes and synthesizes theoretical foundations to propose a conceptual framework for applying the PDCA cycle in the improvement of training programs. It employs systematic literature review and theoretical analysis, synthesis, and comparison as research methods. The research process includes identifying objectives, research questions, research tasks, and methodologies, followed by searching, screening, evaluating, analyzing, and synthesizing data.
The findings systematize and analyze the concept of the PDCA cycle and the underlying theories of the PDCA loop. The proposed theoretical framework for applying the PDCA cycle to training program improvement is structured into four phases: (1) plan; (2) do; (3) check; and (4) act. Each phase is proposed to align with five core aspects of master's program enhancement, including: (1) learning objectives and outcomes; (2) program structure and content; (3) teaching methods; (4) learning outcome assessment; and (5) implementation conditions.
The study proposes a theoretical framework for applying the PDCA cycle to improve master's programs in the context of quality assurance in postgraduate education.
