Abstract

In the context of educational innovation, research activities carried out by lecturers at universities of education play an important role in improving the quality of education and training, enhancing scientific output, and strengthening institutional reputation. Using a survey design, this study examines research activities among lecturers at universities of education. The findings show that administrators and lecturers exhibit a generally appropriate, though not yet comprehensive, understanding of the objectives of research. Furthermore, the content, methods, evaluation of research outcomes, and the conditions for conducting these activities are assessed as being implemented at an average level, not reaching the “fairly good” or “good” levels on the 5-point Likert scale.
